I have been teaching and coaching for 27 years, 22 of which have been at St. Georges.

I love teaching math and daring my students to think. I love empowering students to take responsibility for their own decisions and actions. I love coaching soccer. I grew up (and was born) in Malaysia. I used to run ultra-marathons, before having three kids, but still feel very much alive running in the forest. I wish I took more time to learn languages. I love playing games that require me to think, and playing many different active games including disc golf, KUBB, tennis, ping pong, and water-sliding. A part of me is very much in love with the experience of painting, ceramics and playing the piano. I am proudly optimistic by nature and am energized by people.
