Andrea Jones
Having trained as a high school English teacher and taught for 11 years all around the world, Andrea went on to study for her MA in Counselling Psychology at UBC. Andrea has gained experience in connecting with youth through working in diverse settings, such as mental health residential programs, community cultural programs, as well as 7 different schools. The element of working with young people that Andrea enjoys most, is witnessing the nuanced, dynamic and unique perspectives they bring to the world, as well as their explorations, hopes and plans of how they intend to impact it. Andrea feels it is a privilege to support young people in defining their own identity, built upon the relationships, issues and values that are important to them.
