Anthonia Ogundele
Stepping Out: Courageous Community Building Practices
Anthonia Ogundele is the Founder and Executive Director of Vancouver-based Ethọ́s Lab Educational Society, a Black-Led non-profit with the mission of increasing representation in STEAM through the delivery of culturally grounded, interdisciplinary programming. In 2024, she received the King Charles III Coronation Medal for her commitment to community and was one of BC Business' 2024 Women of the Year as a DEI champion.
She holds a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of Ottawa and a Master of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo. Her commitment to education led her to serve on the Board of Governors at the University of British Columbia.
